question: think of a choice you have made. do you have any regrets? do you think your life would have been different if you had made a different choice?
Answer: at the beginning of the year my teacher decided that i will go to a challenge class (class with more help than the other classes). I asked my teacher if I can go to the normal class with my friends and told him that I do not need special help. My teacher asked me “why haven’t you learned last year” and I answered him that last year was so tough for me…
He answered me back “So this year you will prove that you can learn better and do like everyone else in a mature way”.
After this conversation I gave an opportunity to the Challenge class
and I really have to say that my teacher was Right all this time and he wanted the best for me;
the choice to stay in the challenge class was the best for me and I know that if I had moved to a different class
I could not have learned properly or get good grades (Like Now) ….
Question: Re-write the poem only this time try to use the perspective of the poet when he is old.
May now he is more certain about his decision(strongly regrets it or strongly supports it)?
Answer: i think my choice was a Great choiceone and it couldn’t have been more right.
This is because I knew that it was the best and right one for me; I felt that I can not imagine my future differently with out the help of my teacher and all his Decisions.
I wanted to be with my friends and I thought my teacher was wrong
but after some persuasion “it hit me”
And I will never forget his stubbornness.
Dear Ilia,
I enjoyed reading your story. It’s remarkable that you have come to terms with the decision to switch classes. Whatever you do, it’s important to take responsibility for our choices and make the best of them!
