One Tuesday morning, Cody is going to school. She is going to visit the doctor before she goes to school. She is going with her school uniform. “Okay, so let’s get you in the car.” said Cody’s mum. She went in her mum’s car to the doctor and to her school.
Cody’s mum is driving and Cody is reading a magazine. “Wow, I wanted patterned socks like that!” she said. “You have to be quiet, ok?” said Cody’s mum askedly. “Okay, Mummy.” said Cody. She is now quiet because she is not talking.
At last, they arrived at the doctors. “Hello, may I help you?” asked the receptionist. “My daughter has a sore throat, but she has to visit the doctors.” said Cody’s mum. “I haven’t got a lost voice.” said Cody. “No, you haven’t, but you have a sore throat.” said Cody’s mum.
Cody and her mum waited in the waiting room. She saw some children with their school uniform going to the doctor and she saw babies and toddlers. Cody helped herself with a drink of water. “You should ask first.” said Cody’s mum. “Okay, Mummy.” said Cody.
Cody drank water, until the doctor is here. “Hello, I’m doctor Johnny David Barrett, please come in to my doctor room.” said Dr. Johnny David Barrett. Cody and her mum followed him to his doctor room.
“I have a sore throat.” said Cody. “Okay, so let’s see with my torch.” said Dr. Johnny David Barrett. He checked Cody’s throat with his torch. “Awww, that looks a bit red, doesn’t it?” he said. “I know, but I had that when I was upset yesterday.” said Cody.
“It’s alright, Cody. You don’t need to cry.” said Cody’s mum. Dr. Johnny David Barrett looked at Cody’s face. “It’s okay, Cody.” he said. “But, I am wearing school trousers with my uniform.” said Cody.
“And what colour are they?” asked Dr. Johnny David Barrett. “Grey.” said Cody. “Nice colour, and what school do you go to?” he asked. “I go to Greenmaid Primary School.” said Cody. “You like talking to the doctor, don’t you?” laughed Cody’s mum. “I know.” said Cody.
After they’ve seen Dr. Johnny David Barrett, Cody’s mum is now talking Cody to school. “Thank you.” she said. “You’re welcome.” said the receptionist. Cody and her mum got into their car, and Cody had a good time seeing the doctor, and it was a good morning on a Tuesday.
