HEIDI

Heidi is a sweet five-year-old girl. After losing his mother and father when he was one year old, he stayed with his aunt until he was five years old. But his aunt Dete has to leave him with his grandfather because she got a good job opportunity. His grandfather lives in a hut far from the village, isolated from the people. Heidi loves her grandfather, the cabin, nature and the goats there. Here he also has a friend named Peter and they have a good time together. Peter is a goatherd who lives in the town with his mother and blind grandmother. One day, Heidi’s aunt Dete comes to the Alps to see Heidi. He reluctantly takes Heidi to Frankfurt, Germany, to be a friend of the disabled daughter of a rich family. Although Heidi gets along well with Clara, the daughter of the house, her nanny, Miss Rottenmeier, who constantly gives orders and has an authoritarian personality, does not accept her. Heidi misses the Alps, her village, nature, her grandfather and Peter every day. Unable to adapt to this city life, Heidi’s longing increases day by day. While he cries in his room at night, thinking about his village and the mountains, after a while he begins to weaken and become stagnant. A shot from the Alps, where Heidi’s grandfather and his friend Peter live. Heidi then faces some serious health problems such as sleepwalking. Thereupon, a doctor tells the owner of the house, Mr. Seseman, that Heidi should be taken to her village. Heidi, who received the promise from Clara that she would come to her village, returns to her grandfather with great joy. He regains his health day by day. When summer comes, Clara goes to visit him. However, the fact that Heidi devotes too much time to Clara and does not show the same intense interest in Peter provokes Peter’s feelings of jealousy.
