The golden arm of the law

It was a warm summer afternoon. Harry was sitting in an armchair and l looking at his award that he was granted by the film director society. He had to give his right arm to get this award. And now he was living in a villa that cost arm and leg. He was the host of a party related to the recent Oscar ceremony. 

He invited all the famous Hollywood actors and film directors. His brother in arm Johny came to the party with his arm candy who was an ex-wife of Harry. They went through Iraq together and now Harry has to suffer such a horrible stab in the back from his best friend. That’s why Harry and his present wife were up in arms.

Nobody expected a former FBI agent Joe to come to the party undercover. For the whole evening he has been staring at Johnny and overhearing his conversations. Johnny had a little secret. There was one time he took a chance on his arm and stole a big sum of money from Angelin Joly. The long arm of the law had reached even a closed party in the outback of Hollywood.

Since Johny’s arm candy was Harris’ former fiance, Harry kept Johny at an arm’s length for the whole evening and therefore didn’t notice the strange behavior of the guest. And it was a big surprise for him to see his former best friend being handcuffed in front of everyone. It was the best evening in Harry’s life. And the worst evening in Johny’s life.
