Vivian continued to unpacked the boxes while she waited for the Locksmith to come over, she organized the kitchen while she heard the knocks on the door.

“Who is there?” asked Vivian loud

“Hi its Danny from the Locksmith company” she heard from the door. Vivian hurried to the door and to showed Danny which door she need to unlock.

 

After a few minutes Danny ask from Vivian to come, he said the door was already open, its seems like nobody opened the door for a very long time which is caused the door to be hard for opened.

Vivian thanked to Danny and accompanied him to the door.

While Vivian realized that the door had been open all the time she also realized she had been wrong and Harry didn’t locked it, she go over the phone and called Harry.

“Hi love, how is your day going?” Vivian asked Harry

“Its been and still a tough day, what about you?”

“Oh you know, working on our new home” Vivian answered.

Vivian continued and asked Harry if he knew anything about the attic, and Harry said he didn’t knew they had a attic at all.

 

Vivian thought to herself how could she and her husband didn’t saw the attic path while they visited the house before they bought it, but she didn’t find the answer.

She finished organize the Kitchen and got back to the attic door, she opened the door carefully while she fighting the many cobwebs that surrounding the enter, of course it was dark as night there and she forgot to bring flashlight, while young Vivian would have entered to the attic with or without flashlight, older Vivian with the same strange feeling she had when she tried to open the door for the first time, is now more calculated and closed the door in order to bring flashlight.

Back with her flashlight, Vivian went to the attic with confidence, she opened the door with firmly and aim the flashlight straight.

At her first look she saw a very narrow path, leading to stairs.

The walls was made of concrete like someone forgot to painted them, a very high ceiling and a very strange smell, something between dust to rust, at the highest level you can imagine.

It was strong slope up which prevent from her to see where the stairs lead, she realized she have to continue in the blindness and get to the top of the stairs to see what’s in it.

 

There was a twenty stairs, not in the same size. She felt like she need to run them, like someone is chasing after her.

She run the stairs and started to think for the first time it is not felt like a good idea to went to the attic.
