As students begin to learn more about the basics of science, matter is a huge factor. In this unit, students will learn about matter and its different forms: solids, liquids, and gases. Students will be able to analyze different forms of matter and how to tell which is which.

What is Matter?
Matter is anything that takes up space and has weight.
What are the different forms of Matter?
Solids, Liquids, and Gases.
A solid is a type of matter that keeps its shape.
A liquid is a type of matter that takes the shape of its container.
A gas is a type of matter that fills a container.
