plot:

Jacqueline, one of the main characters in the
story, takes her fiance Simone to her rich friend
Linnet in order to help him find work, and after a
while Simon leaves Jacqueline and marries
Linnet. The couple went out to spend their
honeymoon on a ship in Egypt, and later
discovered that Jacqueline was with them on
the ship and she wanted revenge for her
betrayal. During the voyage, Linnet is killed, and
Detective Hercule begins investigating everyone
on the ship to find out who killed Linnet.

In the end, the detective discovers
that Simon and Jacqueline are the
ones who killed Linnet. Simon plans
to marry Linnet, take her fortune, and
kill her in order to marry Jacqueline in
the end.

main idea:

The main idea of the story is to never
trust anyone who has ever betrayed
anyone. After Simon betrays
Jacqueline by leaving her to marry
her friend Lynette, Lynette accepts
and trusts him despite knowing that
he cheated on her friend, and in the
end we see how Simon killed her and
he didn’t love her so he married her
To take her money and wealth.

My Opinion

Yes, I recommend reading this novel for those
who like to read stories that contain ambiguity
and crimes because it is beautiful and its
language is not very difficult
