Schools have students collect and bring in boxtops. Depending on the number of boxtops collected, General Mills donates a certain amount of funds to the school.

Testing Ad Space!
Tom Farber, a calculus teacher, sold advertising space on his tests. Parents and local businesses could buy ad spaces on his test. He raised $625 through this.

McDonald’s Chimes In!
McDonald’s paid a school district in Florida to put their report cards in McDonald’s envelopes that offered free happy meals.
