Fighting it Out

I started my career in finance by accident.  The faithful part of me does not believe in coincidences, but the practical part of me insists it was a mere fluke.

I was in my early 20’s, newly married, with the dream of studying gemology stuck in my head.  The dream took a backseat to the practicalities of living.  Things like rent, food and baby items took a priority over a fantasy job.
