Belkin WiFi range extenders are similar to repeaters in that they receive wireless signals from routers in the same way. They may be set up with or without cords and wires. Belkin range extenders are intended to stretch out web signals even in poor places. This article will walk you through the process of wirelessly installing the Belkin setup on any device.

Simple Steps for Wirelessly Configuring a Belkin Range Extender

  • First and foremost, the Belkin range extender should be connected to an outlet inside the wireless network coverage region of the router.

  • Now, connect to the Belkin configured network using your Windows or another device.

  • When your device is connected to the Belkin setup, open a browser and enter the http Belkin range into the address bar. You may also try putting 192.168.206.1 into your browser’s address bar instead.

  • Following that, on the following screen, click the Get Started option.

  • At this point, you’ll see that the device is asking for your router’s network name or SSID.

  • When a list of local WiFi networks shows, click next to expand the one you want.

  • If you can’t see your WiFi network, try reloading the page.

  • Then, patiently wait for the setup to connect to the appropriate network.

  • You will now be required to enter the password for your WiFi network. Do so, then press the NEXT button.

  • It will take some time for the setup to validate your password.

  • If your network is Dual-Band, you will be invited to choose a second WiFi network. To do so, simply repeat the steps for selecting the first WiFi network and click the NEXT button.

  • When the expanded network information shows on the screen, click EDIT to change it. Alternatively, click on Create Extended Network to begin the setting.

  • Finally, the extender is configured, and the network parameters are displayed on the screen.

All done! You should have no trouble completing the Belkin setup using the techniques outlined above. If you have any difficulties, please contact our experts.
