BILAL AND TULA

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Bilal. Bilal is five years old and he lives in a strange place called the city of strangers.

His father and mother came from two worlds far away and they are different from each other, the father was fighting the monsters of the galaxies and the mother lived in the beautiful world of fashion, so they differ and there is not much in common between them except Bilal.

كان يا مكان كان هنالك طفل صغير اسمه بلال .بلال يبلغ من العمر خمسة  سنوات وهو يعيش في مكان غريب يسمى مدينة الغرباء.ابوه وامه جاءا من عالمين بعيدان وهما مختلفان عن بعضهما البعض الاب كان يقاتل وحوش المجرات والام كانت تعيش في عالم الموضة الجميل لذلك هما يختلفان ولا توجد اشياء مشتركة كثيرة بينهم ما عدا بلال .

They are trying to agree on Bilal’s affairs and decide with Bilal all his affairs, for example, what he should eat for dinner. But not all decisions are made easily and quickly.Bilal is a quiet child and does not like loud noises and likes to spend his time with his family only.

هما يحاولان ان يتفقا في امور بلال ويقرران مع بلال كل اموره مثلا ماذا يجب ان يأكل على العشاء. لكن ليست كل القرارات تقرر بسهولة وبسرعة.بلال طفل هادئ ولا يحب الصوت العالي ويحب ان يقضي اوقاته مع عائلته فقط.

But that strange thing happened when Bilal went to sleep one dark night in his beautiful room, but no, it is unbelievable what happened to my room why it is like this?!! Bilal said with fear.

ولكن حدث ذلك الامر الغريب عندما ذهب بلاب للنوم في احد الليالي المظلمة في غرفته الجميلة ولكن لا لا يعقل ذلك ماذا حدث لغرفتي لماذا هي هكذا؟!! قال بلال بخوف .

The room was as usual, but a little dark because of the power outage, but the mother brought a small candle and put it on the table. But Bilal remained standing at the door and did not enter the room.

كانت الغرفة كالمعتاد ولكن قليلا مظلمة بسب انقطاع الكهرباء ولكن الام احضرت شمعة صغيرة ووضعتها على الطاولة . ولكن بلال بقي واقف عند الباب ولم يدخل الغرفة .

His mother told him that there is nothing to be scared and that he should not be afraid and that there are no monsters here.

Monsters!!!

Monsters!!!

It’s not possible. Where do monsters come from? And why do you come? Bilal said, shivering with fear.

امه اخبرته انه لا يوجد شيء مخيف ولا يجب عليه الخوف وانه لا توجد وحوش هنا .

وحوش!!!

وحوش !!!

لا يمكن ذلك.  من اين تأتي الوحوش؟ ولماذا تأتي؟ قال بلال وهو يرتعد من الخوف.

Bilal entered his bed and covered his head with a blanket, and then the mother left the room and wished him a good night.

ta ta ta

na na na na

Who owns this voice? Bilal said. Me Me Me

Who are you? Bilal said.

دخل بلال الى فراشه وغطى راسه بالغطاء وحينها تركت الام الغرفة وتمنت له ليلة هنيئة .

تا تا تا

نا نا نا 

من صاحب هذا الصوت؟  قال بلال . انا انا انا

من انت ؟ قال بلال

I am the candle, I am the candle.

Who is that? How do you speak? Bilal said

She said to him: Lift the lid and then we will talk.

When he lifted the lid, the candle said to him: I am the candle, Tula. I don’t talk to people, but I saw you afraid. I said I must talk to you so that we can overcome that fear together.

انا الشمعة، انا الشمعة .

كيف ذلك ؟ كيف تتكلمين؟ قال بلال

قالت له : ارفع الغطاء وبعدها نتحدث.

عندما رفع الغطاء قالت له الشمعة : انا الشمعة تولا . انا لا اتحدث مع البشر ولكنني رايتك خائف قلت يجب ان اتحدث معك لكي نتخطى ذلك الخوف معا.

And this is what happened,  Bilal and Tula spoke all night and in the morning Bilal woke up and saw that Tula had been extinguished. Bilal smiled and said I will light you up at night.

وهذا ما حصل تحدث بلال وتولا كل الليلة وفي الصباح استيقظ بلال ورأى ان تولا قد انطفأت وابتسم وقال سوف اضيئك في الليل.
