The mysterious closet

Once upon a time, a family from England decided to move out to America.

Tom and Emily, the parents, were looking for a house at a good price in America for months.

One day, Tom read the newspaper like every morning and suddenly he saw a house for sale in a small town near Chicago that was on a ridiculous price. Tom immediately called Emily to come to see the house, they took their 10 years old son, Joe, and took off on the first flight to the United States.

The family landed safely in the United States and drove straight from the airport to the house.

When they got to the town, the neighbors called Tom to come to talk to them for a minute. They warned him not to buy the house, they said it was cursed.

Tom laughed and thought they were making fun of him.

Tom decided not to tell his wife and Joe about his conversation with the neighbors, he didn’t want to scare them.

The family entered the house.

Everything went well until the owner said something strange, he said: “you can do whatever you want with the house, the only thing I ask is do not touch the big closet in the room upstairs”.

Emily and Tom agreed and bought the house.

Emily started to organize all their stuff in the new house and Joe got the room upstairs with the big closet.

One rainy night, after about a month since they bought the house, Joe heard noises from the closet.

He thought it was nothing, so he went back to sleep.

After a few minutes, the noises became louder. Joe started to stress and ran to his parents.

He woke them and told them about the noises. They told him it was nothing and to go back to sleep.

Joe couldn’t let it go, he went up to his room and decided to open the closet.

The parents heard a scream from upstairs and woke up immediately, they ran upstairs to Joe’s room and found him dead on the floor.

Joe’s parents started to panic, they tried to escape from the house, but all the doors were locked.

They tried to call 911 but there was no electricity because of the storm that was outside.

They started shouting for help hoping that someone would hear them and come to help them.

After a few minutes, one of the neighbors heard them and ran to their house.

Unfortunately, by the time he arrived, it was already too late and both parents disappeared. Since that night no one has heard or seen them anymore.
