Continuation of the story: question 4
I chose question 4-
“At the end of the story, Waverley ponders her next move.
Write a continuation of the story.
Remember: Weaverly is only nine years old!”
The continuation is told from Weberley’s point of view.
The first time I woke up alone, late, without my mom waking
me up.
I looked at the clock and it was only 35 minutes before my daily
chess practice.
I got dressed quickly and was about to leave,
but the door of my room was locked, and so were the windows.
I had no way out.
“Mom!”, Me Shouted, “My chess training is starting soon and I
have to leave!”.
Was No answer.
My siblings went to school, and I was left alone
Home.
3 hours later, long after my chess training session ended, I
heard the The front door of the house opened, and I heard
my mother’s characteristic sigh.
soon After my room door opened and my mom told me “come
on”.
I am Immediately he came and went down from her house
We drove about An hour, while we were both silent, and
finished in front of a house I had Not seen before.
My mom knocked on the door, and we went inside
There was an old woman. My mom told her to “keep Weaverly,”
and left The house, while I stayed inside.
The old woman continued to clean the floor As I sat in a chair,
wondering what was going to happen.
