WAVERLY IS 30 YEARS OLD

we chose question number 5 and I hope you will like our book.

This book is about Waverly’s life after 21 years.

Character:

Waverly is a human rights supporter.

She has a kid named Lee, who very much likes to play chess.

Waverly did not like the idea that he played chess, as it

reminded her of her life as a 9 year old girl.

But now, Waverly supports him, and she is educating him to

be a smart and polite kid.

Waverly herself is very happy with her job, family, friends and

career.

Family:

Waverly is married to an American man named John. Her

mother did not like the idea very much- she preferred that

Waverly would marry a Chinese person. But eventually,

she accepted the idea and supported her daughter. Her brothers

work abroad, and her father died of cancer when Waverly was

19.

Profession:

Waverly is a Chinese culture professor.

Waverly learned a lot about the Chinese culture.

As she grew up, and she decided that the American people are

unaware of what happens inside the Chinese people who

immigrated to America, and that they should, for they

are a part of their community and surroundings.

As a professor,

she also tells her story as a 9 year old kid to many students.
