Pink Day at the Golf Club

It was a very wet day but lockdown had ended and everyone was excited to be with friends at the golf club.

The colour pink was everywhere because it was Pink Day to raise money for breast cancer trials.

Many ladies came with containers to fill with delicious cakes and treats.

Others found designer masks and games to play.

Only a few braved the weather and played golf.

Everyone stayed for lunch and looked forward to winning one of the raffles.

Di presented the prizes to the winners and announced that $2509 was raised on the day.

However, one group of ladies had a special surprise planned for Pink Day.
They had been practicing the ‘White Golf Glove and Some Pink Decoration’ song and dance for weeks and were looking forward to performing it.

The weather and Covid restrictions prevented the show on the day, but it went ahead a couple of weeks later and we can all now enjoy the video.
