Wow!! We get to go to Milwaukee all by ourselves! My sister and I were so excited, because we had not seen them for a long time. We had some rambunctious cousins waiting to see us. I am going to start by telling you about us getting ready.
My Mom told me then my sister that we had to start to pack. She said to include a nice outfit because the day after we got there it was his birthday. He also was getting announced at church for Boy Scouts. My sister and I were both excited, because we had never gotten to go to a church service before with just my aunt, uncle, and cousins.
The morning we left I kept on asking my mom if it was time to leave, but it was always a “no.” We were going to leave at 9:00, but they had to get their car from an auto repair place. So that got them delayed a little bit, but that was okay. We finally got to leave at 10:00. It seemed like a long way to meet halfway because we were so excited to play with them.
After we exchanged two kids (Kenna and me) we got to go back on the road to go to our cousins’ house. It was a long but fun road trip, because my cousins can get a little crazy sometimes. Within the first 10 minutes my cousin Payton started to pull my sister’s hair and kick her to try and be funny but he was not. His mom got very frustrated with him. She had to tell him to stop a lot before he would listen. He is only 2 years old. He listened for about 20 minutes then he started up again. I felt a little bit bad for my sister because she sat in the back with Payton and Paige, who is 4. I was lucky and got to sit by Gavin, who is 6. We stopped at Dairy Queen on our way to their house.
I couldn’t wait to get to set up for the party and sleep over. What did we get at DQ? Hmm, I wonder… Have you ever gotten surprised?
