Hello, My name’s Agata Reichert and I am an Art History and English teacher in a secondary school in Kraków, Poland.

I am an eTwinning Ambassador in my school. I am also a trainer of eTwinning computer workshops in my region.

I’ve been involved in Etwinning since 2017 and I’ve been running many projects since then, most of them focued on Art and Cultural Heritage. Many projects got National and European Labels. My project “Street Art Around Europe” won the 1st prize in the national contest “My Project 2020”.

My Town

Kraków is a big city located in southern Poland on the Vistula river, as the second largest city in Poland. It is a former capital of Poland, Royal Capital City and necropolis of Polish kings. Kraków is the city of science and culture. There are many universities there and that’s why the city is always full of young people. Thanks to many historical remains and its magical atmosphere, Krakow is visited by plenty of tourists every year.

My School

Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Króla Jana III Sobieskiego is a state school with more than 1000 students and over 90 teachers.
It is located in Krakow’s close city centre.
Our school offers Secondary Education to students aged between 14 and 19 years old. These students can specialise in four different areas: humanities, social sciences, art and sciences.
We are one of 85 Polish institutions in Poland that received the eTwinning School Badge for the period 2020-2021. There are two eTwinning Ambassadors in our school.
There are many international exchanges, excursions, eTwinning and Erasmus + projects in our school, so students are motivated to study foreign languages. These activities  give young people the opportunity to work with peers from other countries, both in online projects and in international exchanges, where students learn about the cultural heritage of other people.
