Garry the water molecule: adventures through the water cycle

One day when Garry the water molecule was floating in the ocean, he started to see his friends lift up into the sky! Soon he was lifting up too. Garry was scared about what was happening but soon realized that he was just evaporating into the clouds.

Once he arrived into the clouds he got to know some other very famous water molecules that had been around for a very long time. After about 10 years of being in the clouds Garry was finally precipitating into some runoff water.

Garry made some friends in the runoff water who had already gone through the water cycle a bunch of times! Garry thought that was pretty cool and decided to ask a bunch of questions but before he could finish his sentence he was gobbled up by a hawk that dipped down to get a fish!

Garry was now flying through the sky inside a hawk! Once the Hawk reached its nest and fed its babies it took off again to go find some more food for tomorrow’s dinner. Garry was being shaken around while inside the Hawk he had know clue what was happening. After about 24 hours the Hawk peed Garry out into a cold glacier!

On the glacier Garry froze and turned into a icicle. Garry didn’t know how long he was gonna be in this part of the water cycle but he knew he was gonna be there for awhile at least. Garry was trying to keep his mind off of how long he might be on the glacier but know matter how hard he tried he still kept thinking about it. But, Garry was wrong! He was condensing and turning into fog!

Once he turned into fog he realized that he was almost done with the water cycle and would soon be home to his friends in the ocean who he missed! He did see one of his friends along the way right before he got eaten up by the Hawk. About 20 minutes after being in the fog Garry was lifting up into the sky and returned to the clouds.

He stayed in the clouds for hundreds of years before being precipitated back into the ocean!

Garry reunited with his friends who had been waiting for him to return to hear all his story’s about going through the water cycle! Garry knew that some day he would go through the water cycle again but for now he was happy to be back home floating in the ocean!
