Love of nature

What can you say about this place we call home? While we may get caught up in our day to day lives, driving down that same street, consumed with all the important tasks (aka life) we all need to attend to, we might forget there is the beautiful world around us. A world, a planet, our earth, that we might take for granted. Love is one of our favorite superpowers because of how far it seems to reach. This love should not end at your doorstep, it includes this land we call home.

Nature has been proven, time and time again, to reduce depression, anxiety, stress. Nature can help to make you feel happier and more content as a person, which can improve many areas of your life.

How do we express love for nature?

World Famous Person I admire

Emma Watson is a popular British actress, mostly known from her roles in the Harry Potter films. She started her acting career at the age of nine and got a really great amount of awards.

However, Emma is not only a famous actress; she is also well-known for her charity work. She was appointed UN Women Goodwill Ambassador in July 2014.Being an accomplished actor and humanitarian, she dedicates           her efforts towards the empowerment of young women and serves as an advocate for UN Women’s HeForShe campaign in promoting gender equality.

At just 24 years of age, Emma has already been involved in the promotion of girls’ education for several years and previously visited Bangladesh and Zambia as part of her humanitarian efforts. She has worked to promote fair trade and organic clothing and served as an ambassador for Camfed International, a movement to educate girls in rural Africa.

Being asked to serve as UN Women’s Goodwill Ambassador is truly humbling,” said Emma. “The chance to make a real difference is not an opportunity that everyone is given and is one I have no intention of taking lightly. Women’s rights are something so inextricably linked with who I am, so deeply personal and rooted in my life that I can’t imagine an opportunity more exciting. I still have so much to learn, but as I progress I hope to bring more of my individual knowledge, experience and awareness to this role.”

Personally, I think that Emma Watson is worth admiring because she has taken up a lot of charitable work and does her best to help the humanity.
