me and my jungle

It was a hot sunny day, As I came into my classroom, I saw max Drawing strait on my desk. I was very angry, I could not control myself, this is not the first time he does it. I hit max the hardest I could.

Then the teacher came in and separated us. The teacher then punished me. Only me! It was so unfair the punishment was to stay an extra hour at school at the end of the school day. Why couldn’t the teacher come in “a minute” earlier? And then she could see max destroying my desk and punishing the real criminal and not me! All that day I did not talk to max.

At the end of the school day, the teacher told me that I could do whatever I wanted in class during the punishment and that she would be in the teachers’ room if I needed anything. Just as the door closed behind her, a sharp flash of light hit me in the eyes. I could not see. Slowly my eyesight returned and I saw that the classroom had become a jungle! Yes, you heard right – Jungle!

The classroom door disappeared, the chairs became thorny plants and shrubs, the student desks became the home of the big cave animals with lots of plants and coconut trees, the corner sink became a gliding waterfall, the teacher’s desk turned into a banana tree, the board became a green grass!

Suddenly, statues of all kinds of strange animals began to appear before my eyes: giraffes with short and thin necks, zebras in the colors of fire, dogs with ears the size of a bug, cats in the colors of the sea, parrots in black and white and all kinds of strange and scary animals. I began to walk slowly between all the animal statues. I wanted to see if all the animals are really statues and could not move. And here it happened again. A flash of light right in your eyes! Suddenly, all the animals started attacking me. I fainted

When I woke up after a few minutes, I was all wet. At first, I thought maybe the lamp in the classroom ceiling had turned into a cloud of rain, but then, I felt something licking me. I felt nauseous. Suddenly I remembered where I was. I’m in a class that has become a jungle! And another lick again. “Ugh! Stop already! What do you want from me?” I raised my head to see who that annoying lick was. Above me lay a huge, hairy lion. Ahhh !! I started sweating from fear. I tried to get up but I could not, I tried again and suddenly – that annoying flash again.

Then everything got worse – the lions roared loudly, the parrots screamed, the cats meowed and I had a strong headache. ” I want to go home!” I shouted. No one came. The animals didn’t notice me either. “Ahhh !! What’s going on here?” I screamed, and again no one answered me. Suddenly, one parrot with a reddish tail started imitating me – “on here” he screamed. And again “on here” I almost exploded with anger. I wanted to shout, I wanted to run away, I wanted to go home now. I started crying really quietly if they heard me all the animals would attack me again…

When I looked in the direction of the parrot that copped, and I saw that he changed. He had a blue scarf on his head, gold earrings and a neckless, a flower dress, and high heels. do not laugh! But He looks exactly like my mom. I almost hugged him I wanted so badly my Mom. The parrot started talking to me just like my mom! “Ohhh … your hair is so long….. I’ll take you to get a haircut next week” Suddenly all the animals turned to the talking parrot.

The mom costume was gone, the parrot flew fast towards the window. But the animals were faster than him, they got to the window before him and blocked his way that he would not be able to get out. Suddenly, it happened again! Once again this flash.

This time the classroom changed back to normal- the classroom door appeared again, the plants and bushes became back to the students’ chairs, the animals’ house – big caves with lots of plants and coconut trees became the students’ desk’s again, the waterfall turned back into a small sink, the banana tree was back to being the teacher’s desk and the green grass was back to being a disgusting and dirty floor. Just then, the teacher came in and told me it was time to go home …

I started packing to go home and then I noticed that the whole jungle that just disappeared was drawn on a page in front of me. “What’s going on here? I did not draw this picture,” I thought to myself. I folded the page and hurried home. On the way home, I remembered that during recces I was bored so I drew weird jungle…

When I got home, I went to mom and told her that I regret hitting max. Mom gave me a kiss and padded my head. “wow …” she said, “you have really long hair … next week I’ll take you for a haircut”
