First and foremost, let me introduce myself. I am AIT-BELLA HIBA, 20 years old, a student at the Higher School of Education and Training in El Jadida English Teaching. Proud to be the daughter of the woman who is still putting all of her efforts into me. the woman who is working so hard, although it has been challenging for her to raise three kids alone. Dear mom, my love for you can never be explained by words.

Back to 2015 when I met for the first time the children the children of my cousin who lives in Canada. He has Ali as a new born at that time and Alae the big girl who had 4 years old that time. She speaks only English as she lives in Canada. Although her parents are Moroccan and Algerian, but she was still confused about Moroccan Arabic. I love kids so much, but I could not play with her because I cannot communicate with her.

Google translation was my way to check for the translation of the word “kiss me” in English or any other word so she can understand me. I felt stupid not being able to communicate with her.

In my first year at high school, I was introduced to English, but it was not a long conversation. My teacher was absent for many classes, but I am glad I had the chance to have extra hours joining another class, which was for literature students whose one of them was my bestie. Thanks to her teacher who gave me the chance to attend his classes. I still remember the session in which there was no place to sit, and, instead of excusing, he gave me his chair to sit on and attend the class. In that class, he asked me to participate in the public speaking competition, which changed everything.

With his help and the hard work he has done with us, I took first place at that competition and faced all of my fear. speaking about the fear of public speaking, my weak ability to memorize, and my level of English.

In my first and second year of baccalaureate, I was his student and had the chance to participate even more at that competition and achieve well in it, thanks to him.

Even after I graduated and moved to another city and chose to study English, thanks to him, he invited me to attend as a guest of honor and give my speech. And that occasion was filmed in the following video.

Having a teacher like him gives me the willing to be a teacher like him. I would not deny the fact that I admired his way of teaching. He is different. My love towards being an English teacher was not only because of the competition. It was because of him being a great teacher.

I would not deny I felt weak many times being an English student. I thought many times of changing my goals because I cannot see me as good as he is, but after the classes we had with the Professor Mr. Bouziane, I had that feeling of working hard to be there back, thanks to him.

Until now, if I have to show my gratitude for any teacher it would be, for sure, for Pro. Bouziane and Pro. Ait Idir.
