As long as I remember, I never liked meat or chicken very much.
I tried to be a vegetarian, but my family told me that they loved meat too much so I couldn’t.
About three years ago, I went on a trip to east Asia.
While I was there, I avoided meat because nothing was kosher.
But as I got along in my trip, I saw horrifying images of how they treated their animals.
Eventually, I no longer wanted to eat meat at all.
So, in order to get along with my family and to have something to eat at Friday night dinners I had to learn how to cook.
The best thing about being a vegetarian today, is that there are so many blogs and recipes on the internet, so you can try to make anything by yourself.
The most important thing is to be open minded.
To new tastes, new textures, new things!

Always have rice, lentils, or vegetables at home.
Then just try to combine different meals with them.
If you want to get along with your family, you have to be prepared to make your own food.
If you ever host them, you must be brave, choose someone you trust, and try to make easy stuff like Bolognese or Shnitzel.
