Detailed Tour Program

Day 1

*  We meet in front of our office (Adventourus Tour) in Nicosia at 3:00 am (Friday) and take our bus to the Larnaca Airport. We arrive at the airport at 4:30 am.

*  Our flight is at 6:30.

*  We land at Henri Coanda, Otopeni Airport in Bucharest at 8:50.

*  We take the bus from Otopeni to go to our hotel. It takes approximately 30 minutes from the airport to the city centre.

*  We arrive at the hotel around 10:15.

*  Our hotel is located in the Old Town, Bucharest where there is a lot to discover. You will have the whole day free to get to know the area better.

Day 2

* On Saturday, we meet in front of the hotel after breakfast for a Day-Trip to Transylvania. (8:30) and it is a 12 hour trip.

No visit to Romania would be complete without ticking off Transylvania, where ancient castles are set against backdrops of dramatic rolling hills. See the best of the region without having to worry about car hire or navigation on a day trip from Bucharest, which offers a great introduction to local history for first-time visitors. More detailed information will be provided on the day of the trip.

Day 3

On Sunday, we join a guided walking tour of historical Bucharest where we will discover the diverse and layered history of Bucharest on a 3-hour walking tour.

Our local guide will show you the highlights of Bucharest – from the streets of the restored Old City Centre, to the grand architecture of the Royal Palace and Cismigiu Park. ToursByLocals features private tours to Bucharest that will show you the beauty of this wonderful city.

Nicolae Ceausescu’s legacy, including the Parliament Palace (formerly called the People’s Palace), which at 3.76 million square feet stands as the world’s second largest building, provides an interesting introduction to the dictator’s megalomaniac vision.

Day 4

* On Monday, we have a free day until we meet in front of the hotel to take the bus back to the Otopeni airport. We meet in front of our hotel at 5:00 to take the bus. Our flight is at 20:00 and we arrive in Larnaca at 22:10.We take our bus back to our office in Nicosia and we arrive there around 23:40.
