OCTOBER:

BER:Nine Stones is a very old game that can be played outside and at home.

Play the game of Nine Stones.

9 Stone is an intelligence game played by moving stones on lines. Line up 3 tiles and take an opponent’s piece out of play.

How to play;

Let’s give some information on How to Play 9 Stone Intelligence Game; It is played by placing stones at the corner points on the three nested squares and the lines connecting them from the middle points of the edges. Players have nine pieces each. First, the game starts by placing one stone at the midpoints where the corners and lines intersect respectively. The aim of the opponent players with 9 Stone Game is to arrange three pieces of stones on a straight line. We can also line up the stones while placing them, so we must prevent the opponent from lining up. If we place the stones or if we put three stones in the same order in the game, when we do this we get one stone from the opponent. While buying stones, we spoil his game by taking stones that the opponent can line up, move or prevent us. While buying a piece, we cannot take the opponent’s three lined up pieces. We can get a stone from the opponent by breaking the order of the stones we have listed and when the right to move comes back to us. Nine Stones Game can be played by generating strategy

a game. There are three basic modes of action in the game; Trying to immobilize the opponent’s stones by squeezing them, setting traps that can make a turn, and seizing valuable places on the playing field. The player whose pieces are stationary is forced to move a certain piece and you can make the opponent move where you can line up your pieces. We can bring our pieces to certain places and make a queue as a result of the opponent’s wrong moves. It can provide an advantage in the game as it will provide more movement options in keeping the midpoints where the lines meet. With the Nine Stones Game, the last two stones left lose the game.

NOVEMBER:QUOTES

The game of four is one of the favorite games played by young and old people.

GAME RULES

Quartet is a linking game in which two players first choose their color and then drop the colored discs they take in turn on the cage with seven columns and six rows of vertical hangers. The pieces fall flat in empty places in the column.

The aim of the game is to connect your own discs of the same color in a row of four, vertically, horizontally and diagonally, before your opponent.

SO WHAT CAN BE LEARNED AS MATHEMATICAL KNOWLEDGE?

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

 Counting up to 4

GEOMETRY

 A 6×7 dimensional lattice

 4 in line group

 Difference between 2 sizes and 3 sizes

MATHEMATICAL SOLUTION

The game of four is a “perfect knowledge” game played for two. This term describes games in which a single player moves at each move for the current state of the game, where players know all the moves and positions up to that time, and all the moves that can be made.

The extent of the complexity of the game of four shows the large number of positions on the game board to be used and the large number of moves that can be made. For the Classic Fourth game played using 0 to 42 discs, 6 hangers and 7 rows in the cage allow 4,531,985,219,092 different positions in the game. Quadruption is a powerful solution game. The player who has the right to move first can always win by making the right moves. The game was first mathematically solved by James Dow Allen (October 1, 1988), completely independently by Victor Allis (October 16, 1988). Allis describes a knowledge-based and 9-strategy-based solution for the Quadruple. At the same time, Allen explains the winning strategies based on his own analysis.

DECEMBER:HOW TO PLAY TIC-TAC-TOE GAME?

TİC TAC TOE is a two player game played with paper and pencil. One of the players becomes X and the other player is O. The players draw a 3×3 square made up of 9 small squares. The players alternately draw their marks on the empty spaces and the first player to line up three of their marks horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins the game.
If both players place their marks correctly, the result of the game is a draw. The only way to win the game is to catch the opponent unprepared by trapping. One of the few rules of the game is that players can only make their moves in empty boxes and in the right, sole, up and down directions. Cross moves or jumping a box is prohibited.
It should also be noted that if the player who moves first places his mark on the square in the middle, the probability of winning the game is 100%. For this reason, it is forbidden to make the first move to the center. As a result, if the players choose the most logical move and continue the game, it is certain that the game will end in a draw.

As can be noticed, the game is not a game based on chance, and every knowledge, every move is known by both players. The game may seem very simple, but don’t take it lightly because it is full of traps.
THE GAME CONTINUES WITH TWO STEPS STEP 1: FIRST MOVE
Players draw a 3×3 square consisting of 9 squares. It is also decided which player will act first and which player will be X and which player will be O. The player who moves first can place one of the X or O symbols wherever he wants, except the chi square in the middle. The second player moves either in a way that can prevent his opponent’s move or to prepare his own strategy.

they will be released

1. Make your squares by drawing two parallel vertical lines, and two horizontal lines intersecting them. When you draw the lines, you should have an open-sided 3 × 3 box, shaped like a flat ‘#’ symbol. The squares don’t have to be too big, they just need to be big enough to write inside.

Decide who to start. To do this, you can flip a coin, play rock-paper-scissors, or let the younger one start. You must also decide who is ‘X’ and who is ‘O’. According to some rules, the first player has to be ‘X’, but it doesn’t matter much.

3. Ask the first player to draw his symbol wherever he wants. Then the second player draws his own symbol in another box. The aim of the game is to place your own symbol in a row and prevent your opponent from doing this. When the squares are full, if no one has been able to line up their symbol in a row, the game is a tie – this is called a ‘cat’s game’ or a ‘cat’. Players may shout ‘cat’ when they are drawn – it doesn’t make sense but it keeps the little kids entertained.

4. If you want to play it again, redraw your frames and start over. This time, let the second player of the previous game begin.

JANUARY:Nim players from different stacks they play by taking out the objects in turn It is an ancient game of unknown origin. In normal variant, the last object in the stack the player who leaves the game wins and the other in another common variant loses.

OVERVIEW

· Game Type: Mathematical strategy

game

· Number of Players: 2 Players

· Age: 7 years and older

· Time Required for Preparation: 1

minute

· Playing Time: 1-2 minutes

GAME RULES

Nim players play by sequentially removing objects from different stacks

is a mathematical strategy game. At least one piece every turn to the players

and they can extract more objects from the same stack. Of the game

his goal is not to be the player to remove the last object.

As is clear, there is no need for luck in the game. Making the best series of moves

You can make clever predictions and work for it.

There are 4 matches of 1, 3, 5, 7.   placed in rows.

First player to rank takes out a few of the matches. The other player is the same or another

He takes as many matches as he wants from a row. The first player is another rank than replay

takes a few matches……The game continues in this way …Until there’s only one match left, next

the player loses the game.

Nim is often played as a losing game, that is, the last object from the ground a game that the player loses. But also as a normal game in other words, it is played in the way that the player who bought the last object won. Normal game to this   It is called because many games follow this order.

does not follow this order.

MARCH:

Mangala started to be played by Turks in Central Asia for the first time as a game.

What is Mangala?

Mangala game is a kind of logic game. This game, which is played under various rules, is actually quite simple. What needs to be done in the game is usually to establish a correct strategy at the beginning of the game. After establishing this strategy, it is enough to continue the strategy until the end of the game. Mangala game actually symbolizes some concepts. These symbols symbolize 12 pits 12 bears, each 4 stones in the grooves symbolize 4 moons. In addition, the treasures on the right and left sides refer to the East and the West.

How to Play Manga?

Mangala game is a game played with 2 people. Each player gets 24 pieces in the starting phase. There are a total of 12 grooves on the board in the mangala game. These hollows are also called house or pit. There are 6 grooves on the part of each player on his side. Players can only extract stones from the grooves on their side. When the player extracts a stone from the groove on his side, only stones can be left in the grooves of the opponent. There is one big hole in each side of the 6 grooves.

These large cavities are called treasure for players. The goal is that each player will collect their stones into parts called this treasure. The hole on the right of the player is the treasure of that player. The game usually starts with lots. In the initial starting phase, the player has 4 stones in each hole.

Mangala Rules

– The player with the first row must choose a slot. Then he takes the 4 stones and leaves them in the holes one by one towards the left. The important rule here is; The player leaves a stone of 4 stones in the groove.

 – If the last stone left by the player hits his / her treasure, the turn goes to the same player.

 – If the last stone is thrown into the grooves of the opponent and makes that hole double, the player throws all the stone in the opponent’s cavity, such as 2, 4, 6 and 8 stones.

 – If the player throws the last stone in an empty hole in his area, the stones in the opponent’s well into his own treasure.

Mangala game is played within the framework of these rules.

Mangala Tactics

Among the tactics to be applied in the mangala game, the first move is very important. As a result of the lottery made in the game, it is determined which player will start the game. If you are the first to start the game, definitely try to find your last piece in the treasure. So, start with your turn, take the stones in the 3rd slot. So you can go to the treasure by scattering the stones. In this way, you both bring stones to the treasure and win one more move.

If the opponent has left an odd numbered hole, try to match your own piece in that slot. So you can send all the stone in the well to the treasure. This situation will cause the opponent to wear out psychologically. Paying attention to empty wells is one of the biggest tactics in the game.

Especially the full wells opposite the empty cavities are very important. Because if the last piece you played on coincides with the empty holes, all the stones opposite that empty slot will be transferred to the treasure. Hollow holes are one of the most overlooked tactics in the game. Due to the hollow holes, the opponent can suddenly be defeated. For this reason, the strategies should be determined according to these cavities by paying attention to the existing empty cavities.
