Environmental pollution is mainly due to three causes:

– means of transport
– industries
– heating and cooling of houses

I want to look at the problem of house insulation.

Many houses in the world are old buildings and when they are heated some of the heat comes out of the walls and windows,
while in summer the heat of the sun comes in and the air conditioners are turned on to keep it cool.

Many countries, especially in Europe, have introduced regulations for the construction of new houses that are energy saving.

They also introduced incentives to renovate old houses to be more environmentally friendly.

My house is a recent house and has walls with insulating materials and the windows are also very insulated.
The boiler is low-consumption.

Today there are houses that are called zero consumption and use the sun’s energy for electricity and to heat the water and also the thermal energy of the earth.

They have walls and windows with innovative materials and technologies that allow to minimize heat dispersion.

Unfortunately these technologies are still very expensive and little used in many countries of the world.

To obtain the reduction of world pollution they should be used everywhere.
