When my grandmother was 12 world war 2 started to show her face in Poland. Her mother felt immediately that something bad is going to happen and they decided to move with all the family to Israel. The leaving from Poland was so fast because of the war starting to get worst and they had to leave almost everything behind and run away…

This is the part that the story getting a twist…
unfortunately, my grandmother lost her mother to the disease just a few months after they settled down in Haifa, when my grandmother was only 12 years old.
At that moment my grandmother was sent to boarding school in the kibbutz because her father can not take care of her by himself.
One year later my grandmother’s father passed away in a tragic way and little Hanna stay orphan at age 13!
Hanna was left alone in the world in an unknown country…

Although all the disasters my grandmother has been through, she went to the army even although she was not required.
In her military service she met a young man and the two fall in love, this man is my grandfather. They got married a few months after they met and bring to the world two children together.
My grandmother never has self-pity, every disaster that was in her life just made her stronger!

Like i allready said the story is not a happy story but in the end good things happend. This women inspiring me every time that i look at her and see the women she is, although everything she been through!
