The Magnificent Names of Passover

We are all familiar with Passover, which celebrates the Exodus from Egypt and the freedom of the people of Israel.
However, not all of us know that there are other special names for Passover.

Exodus from Egypt – יציאת מצרים

The first name of the holiday we will focus on is… Passover!
This name is the most popular and familiar name of the holiday.
This name is expressed through the last miracle of the night of the Exodus from Egypt, in which God Passed (skipped) over the houses of Israel and killed the firstborn sons of Egypt.

Freedom Holiday is another one of the holiday’s names and this name is expressed in the fact that the people of Israel became free people when they left Egypt.

Our next name is Spring holiday. God decided to release the people of Israel from Egypt in the month of spring and this is the reason why Passover is also called the holiday of spring.
