WHAT DOES HEALTHY EATING MEAN?

 

It means eating a variety of foods that give you the nutrients you need to be healthy, feel good and have energy.

 

The WHO makes the following 5 recommendations:

  1. Eat regular meals based on the major FOOD GROUPS everyday
  2. Eat more fruits and vegetables, legumes, whole grains and nuts
  3. Reduce the intake of unsatured fats, sugars and salt
  4. Don’t be overweight
  5. Have regular physical activity
