WHAT DOES HEALTHY EATING MEAN?
It means eating a variety of foods that give you the nutrients you need to be healthy, feel good and have energy.
The WHO makes the following 5 recommendations:
- Eat regular meals based on the major FOOD GROUPS everyday
- Eat more fruits and vegetables, legumes, whole grains and nuts
- Reduce the intake of unsatured fats, sugars and salt
- Don’t be overweight
- Have regular physical activity
