There are people who some times have a hard time dealing with stress or anxiety, or even just venting. Using coping skills, we can effectively get through tough situations.
Some ways people manage to cope are by doing physical activities. This includes running, working out at the gym, playing sport, hiking, and even martial arts.
Another popular way people clear their minds is by creating or turning to art. Art can be writing, painting, sculpting, and even music. Art can be consoling because it allows you to express your emotions, and it puts you in control.
Coping can simply be writing in a journal or talking with a friend.
Having a coping skill is very important because it allows us to get stress off of our chests. Stress can be harmful to the mind and body. So next time you are in a stressful moment, use your skills!
