THE RULES OF INTERNET AND OUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

We should use kind and polite language on the internet.
We should not use threatening vulgar words to other people even as a joke.
We should not bother people.
Not every news item may be accurate on the internet so we should be careful for our posts.
If someone bothers us with disturbing words, images or texts, we should get off the internet immediately.
We have to arrange our time in front of the internet and computer well. Because our time unique and it’s the only thing was presented equally.
In order to avoid physical discomfort on our bodies, we should sit upright in front of computers.
For the health of our eyes, our neck and back, we should not sit in front of the computer for a long time.

  DANGEROUS SITES

The sites that we see in internet may not be safe at all. Contents in some sites may be scary for you and also there may be lots of people willing to harm you.

To search on the net safely,

All information that you see on the net may not be true at all!

Gloating people can steal your personal information and passwords!

If you receive mail from a person who wants your personal information, you must not answer that mail!

You must not shop online without permission from your parents!

Never trust the sites who send gifts online and you must not accept the offer!

KEEP YOUR COMPUTER SAFE

If you are surfing on the Internet, downloading files, videos and music, you should know that your computer will always be in danger. There are ready-made virus programs to harm computers. This prevents computers working. It damages and even causes to delete our files on computer. It also infects other people’s computer with the emails which you sent. Furthermore, malicious programs called Worm and Trojan Horse can also cause great damage on our computer and informations. Only way to be protected from these malicious programs is install an anti-virus program to our computer .

TAKE CARE OF YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY

We do research on the internet, to get new information, to communicate with friends, relatives and other people. In doing all this, we must protect ourselves from the dangers we may face.

We shouldn’t share our TC ID number, home address, phone number, name of our school, phone numbers belonging to our parents with people we don’t know.

We shouldn’t send pictures, videos of ourselves and our family to others.

We shouldn’t chat with strangers on Web camera.

We should reject offers of friendship from people we don’t know.

We must consult our family before playing games on the internet.
