1.The Main Character: Greg Heffley.

He loves to play video games so much.

Greg`s best friend and he is a nice kid.

3.The Last Character: Manny Heffley.

Greg’s three-years-old brother who is spoiled and pampered by his parents and gets away with everything.

Main Events:

1.Greg thinks that his whole life is being recorded.

2.Greg`s mom thinks that video games is turning his brain so much and she wants him to put the controller down and explore his “creative side” so he starts exploring his creative talents by playing an instrument, making a movie with Rowley, and attending a wild Halloween party.

Plot:

The pressure’s really piling up on Greg Heffley. His mom thinks video games are turning his brain to mush, so she wants her son to put down the controller and explore his “creative side.”

As if that’s not scary enough, Halloween is just around the corner and the frights are coming at Greg from every angle.

When he discovers a bag of gummy worms, it sparks an idea. Can Greg get his mom off his back by making a movie…and will he become rich and famous in the process? Or will doubling down on this plan just double Greg’s troubles?

End :

While filming the horror movie they accidentally put an old Halloween decoration – an electronic witch – which scared Rowley so bad and he ran outside and climbed a tree. The fire department must get Rowley down, which attracted the local news station. Then the clip went viral called “The Rescue” and Rowley did not return to school because the TV programs were asking him every morning to film an interview with him. Rowley becomes a local celebrity, but never mentions Greg in the interviews. Greg was angry, because he knows he is the one who made Rowley famous.

My opinion about the story:

 I recommend this book for people who like humor, it is so funny and lovely I really like it it`s amazing!
