Snow White

Snow White story- (Hanau, Jacob, and Wilhelm Grimm.)

A long time ago a child was born for a king and a queen and she was called Snow White.

But her mother passed away when she was very young, and her dad got married to another woman, This woman was very naughty and she gave orders that Snow White must be treated as a servant.

Snow White was a very beautiful girl, and one day there was a handsome prince who saw Snow White and he fells in love with her at first sight.

Her stepmother was beautiful too, every day she asks her magical mirror, “Who’s the fairest person in the land?” and the mirror answeres as always:

“You are the fairest person in the land”.

But, one day the mirror answered with a non expected answer, and she said: Snow White is the fairest lady in the land.

So her stepmother asked her bodyguards to take Snow White into the woods and she ordered them to kill her.

The killer took pity on her and did not kill her, he left her in the woods, Snow White entered the little house in the woods and she found it very dirty, and she started to clean it up.

and while she was cleaning she found seven little beds. She was very tired so she fell asleep on one of the existing beds.

After a couple of hours came to the home 7th dwarfs, and they were surprised when they found a girl in the house. After arguing they decide to let her stay with them, and she promised them to cook for them and take care of them.

After a while of time, the stepmother discovered that snow white is alive in the wood, so she dressed as a saleswoman and she went to the woods. She found Snow White and she gave her a poisoned apple, Snow White was very kind and she believed the saleswoman and she ate the apple, then she sank into unconsciousness.

The stepmother of Snow White thought that Snow White is dead, then, the 7th dwarfs saw her they were very sad and they built a glass coffin for her.

One day the prince of the land was in the forest and he saw Snow White in the transparent coffin. so he gets close to her and lands over and kissed her. Suddenly she opened her eyes with a smile.

Everyone was very happy. The Prince took Snow White to his palace because he wants to marry her.

In the huge palace, they get married.

Her stepmother passed away When she heard that Snow White is still alive.

The 7th dwarfs and all the people in the land were very happy and Snow White and the prince lived happily ever after.

6. What was the problem in the book, and how was it solved?

The stepmother hated Snow White and she wanted to kill her by giving her a poisoned apple, then Snow White ate the apple without knowing that it’s a poisoned apple. The stepmother thought that Snow White passed away but she fell into a coma and she came back to life when the prince kissed her.

7. Did anyone in the book do something you did not like? What was it? Why did you not like it?

Yes, I don’t like the stepmother because she was very naughty and a bad character, she wanted to kill Snow White so she dressed as a saleswoman and she went to Snow White and she gave her a poisoned apple.

I don’t like this character because she doesn’t like people and she wanted to kill Snow White because she is more beautiful than her.

8. How did the main character feel during the book? Give evidences of this.

All the time in the book Snow White was very kind although she was sad – “Snow White was very kind and she believed the saleswoman and she ate the apple”

In the end, Snow White was very happy and she likes to help people and she is very friendly – “and she promised them to cook for them and take care of them.”- “All the people in the land were very happy and Snow White and the prince lived happily ever after.”

9. Did this book remind you of anything that has happened to you? What? Why?

Yes, Overall, I think I remembered that there are a lot of people who don’t like to help others and who want to hurt others and they don’t love each other.

10. If you were in a problem situation like one in the book, how would you have acted? Be sure to tell what the situation is.

If my stepmother was very naughty and she wanted to kill me and she wants to hurt me I think, I will be very brave and confident and I will not be afraid of her, and always I will be strong and I will go to the police. And, I wouldn’t act like Snow White when she took the poisoned apple without thinking, for me I think, I will be smarter than Snow White and I wouldn’t take anything and eat it without being assured of it.

11. Compare this book with the last book you read.

I think I liked this book more than the last book that I read because the story of this book and the events that happened were very exciting, and the end of the book was very great, (Good people always win and become happier in the end.)

The last book was boring and the I don’t like the events of the story.

Yes, I liked the ending of the story very much because it was a happy ending; all the nice people in the land were very happy, and Snow White and the prince lived happily ever after.

“Snow White”, because she was very beautiful and she was very kind and nice and she loves others, and she likes to help people around her.
