About Mars

Mars is the fourth planet of our solar system and also the second smallest. It’s a terrestrial planet with reddish color that is due to the iron oxide, prevalent on the planet. It own a thin atmosphere with surface features such as craters, volcanos and canyon.

Traveling to Mars

The minimum distance between Earth and Mars is 54.6 million Kilometers and it’s maximum distance is 401 million kilometers, which make traveling really limited and one way only, but not impossible as NASA already sent multiple robots to the red planet. With our current technology, a trip to Mars would take approximately 9 month.

Living on Mars

Unfortunately, liquid water cannot exist on Mars due to it’s low atmospheric pressure which make living on Mars more difficult because we have to carry our own water supply from home. The planet is also manly made of desert and mountains making life condition for human harder. But thankfully we could terraform the planet to make it suitable to our living condition and make life on Mars a possible thing.
