The story ” Dick Whittington” talks about very poor boy called Dick, he lives only with his aunt, because his parents were dead.

The dream of his life was to go to London. Dick decides to work’ because his aunt is very poor, and she can’t help him to go to London.

Dick meets a rich and kind man, he asks him to work in his home. The rich man accepts, and gives some food every day to dick. Dick finds cat in front of the rich man’s house, he calls the cat Majesty, it catches all the mice in dick’s room.

The rich man calls all his servants, and tells them that his ship is going for a far land, and if anyone want to sell something, he can give it to the captain, the ship’s captain sells it and get money for him.

The servants give the captain pots and jewelry’ but dick sends his cat, because it is the only thing that he has. The captain travels to Africa, he sells many things for the king of the country. The king invites the captain to dinner at his palace.

Suddenly, great number of rats run into the palace, the king shouts:” the rats again, please I want to solve this problem “. The captain brings the cat Majesty’ it jumps on the rates, and it kills all of them.

The king decides to buy this amazing cat, he pays a lot of money for dick’s cat, the king become very happy, the cat eats the rats every day. The captain comes back to the house of the rich man, he meets dick and tells him that he sold the cat, and gives them a lot of gold and Jewelries. Dick becomes a rich man, he learned, worked hard, and bought a house, and married. Dick becomes rich and famous, and the lord mayor of London, he helps a lot of poor people.
