❤My beautiful Israel, the land of my heart, to write poems about you, to photograph your captivating sights, to pass among your seasons, to fly through your sky like a sparrow, to be a wandering leaf in your streets, to climb to the top of your mountains ,to dive among your waves, to get drunk like a butterfly in your fields. To pray for you and for your sons and to love you more each day.
🕊Jerusalem’s gates
The sun wraps Jerusalem
In a tallit of light
The city will open her eight gates
The Flowers’ Gate
The Lions’ Gate
The Jaffa gate
The Damascus Gate
The Zion Gate
The Dung Gate
The Mercy Gate
Soon,
The prayer for peace will open
The New Gate
And enter with a white dove
Bearing an olive branch.
🕊Jerusalem
The Festival of Lights
When the lights of the skies
Go down at night
To meet
the colorful lights
of the city,
Jerusalem glows
like the sun.

Tiberias
The Seagulls in the Sea of Galilee
A flock of seagulls danced
All night long
Like drunken sailors
On the deck of a boat
Before taking off for other nights.
Tiberias
When dawn rises
The sun spreads its gold
Over the blue waters
of the Sea of Galilee.

Shabbat in Tiberias
Tiberias sits on the water,
Its seagulls hovering
like kites.
The Sea of Galilee shines like a mirror
The clouds open a canopy above
The Shabbat bride will soon arrive.
Sunset in the Negev Desert
When the sun
Gets
Undressed
Even the
Desert
Blushes.
Camels in the Desert of Judea
The camels carry
The days that pass.
Soon they will be covered
With a blanket of sand
As they will listen
To the whistling wind
Trembling in
The empty wadi.

White Pictures – 1
Rain falls here
In embarrassment
As if it lost its way.
The Dead Sea
The language of the salt
The language of the salt
Is clean, clear and white
With no candy lips
To lead you astray.
The Dead Sea
Four hundred meters below
Four hundred meters
Below the noise level
The Dead Sea lies low
Takes root in the ground
And grows silent trees
Of white.
The Dead Sea
White Pictures- 2
The wind races
Like a whistle
Down an endless road.
Pictures from Eilat -1
Mountains slide silently
Into the Sea below.
Dissolving the red
With the blue.
Pictures from Eilat -2
By evening
The skies blow
Cotton pink
Candy
Clouds.
Pictures from Eilat – 3
By night
The sky becomes
A field blossoming
With stars
The moon clings
To the palm branches
Spreading
Potions of love.
Caesarea
An ancient fortress
We pass
Through the Palace of History
He wants to show me the
Ancient ruins
And I
Want to show him the
Chameleon spring.
Yes, he is busy with archeology
Stones always interest him
And I specialize in romanticology
Fascinated by a sea
That keeps changing its colors.
Caesarea-
The sea peers through
the windows of history
The waves breathe life into
Walls of stone.
Jaffa
Andromeda’s Rock
Andromeda is
Chained to a rock
The waves
Crash round
Trying to
Break through the chains
Or
Comfort her with
Soft caress.
Jaffa
One God for all of us -1
The bell tolls
Atop the church above the hill,
Then spreads its wings
And takes flight.
Jaffa
One God for all of us -2
For whom
The muezzin
Calls,
His voice descends
From the nearby
Mosque
Like falling
Gold.
Jaffa , One God for all of us-3
For whom the embroidered
Prayer shawl hovers
Between sky
And earth.
Latrun
How can the wind caress
This metal face
This leaf,
This stone,
Whipping the first,
Weaving dreams in the second,
And in the third,
Weeping, comforting,
Drying the tears.

Acre
The game of life
A fisherman and a fish
Became sculptors
Waiting for the fish
To move
And revive
Them both.
Haifa -The Carmel Forest
Take me to the Carmel forest
To see the sunset
Spreading on the sand and the water
Show me how
The wild deer celebrate
Among the old green oaks
While Cyclamen raise
Pinky rabbit ears.
Show me how
The sun is pours
Barrels of golden honey
On the rising waves
Of the sea.
🌹The spices of Daliyat Al-Karmel
The scarves in Daliyat Al-Karmel
Decorated with rustling gold coins
Miss dancing
To the rhythm of the Darbuka.
The temptation of a Kenafeh with brown noodles
And sweet goat cheese
Beckons.
The market redolent with rich scents
Of Eastern spices mixed
With the cheap smell of
Disposable toys.
Pedestrian and Midnight in Zichron Yaacov
In the painted pedestrian of Zichron Yaacov
Crazy little shops,
Pillows with fairy tales
Colored glass balloons dangling from the ceiling.
Sergio designs there turquoise birds
And lets them fly on the wall.
Cats stretch a swan’s neck
And suddenly disappear like a spell.
Ceramic faces talk to each other
In the little gallery.
And at night
The Baron’s wine barrels flow
Until even the street gets drunk.
Zefat
Zefat
Is spread like a fan
Over the tops of her mountains.
Colors of nature, paintbrush
And holiness
Mix
And flowers’ scents
With the ancient aroma
Of alleys.
On the streets of Tel Aviv-1
Tel Aviv
Clings to
Old streets
Which refuse
To wake up
Yet still have the scent of
Black coffee and cinnamon rolls.
On the streets of Tel Aviv -2
Graffiti paintings
Climb up the walls of the old houses
And hide their faces in a variety of colors
So you can’t tell the city’s
Age.
On the streets of Tel Aviv – 3
In the evening
The sun, dark red scarves
Covers the blue mirror surface in the windows
Of the buildings
That try to touch her
Sky.
On the streets of Tel Aviv – 4
Baroque music
Occupies the neighborhood
Wearing clothes and colors from history
Artists display their
Precious stones, gold birds and handicrafts.
In her beautiful days
Nahalat Binyamin is decked out
Like a desirable Madam.
