A Trip Through the Water Cycle

I am going to tell you about my trip through the water cycle. I first started in the ocean. I was a liquid.

Then I went up to the clouds through evaporation. Evaporation happens when heat energy is added to the water. Now I was a gas.

Then, while I was in the clouds, the water condensed. I fell as snow, and I landed on a glacier. It was really cold, so I froze, and now I am a solid.

After being frozen for a while, I finally melted. Then I filter into the ground. Now I am ground Water.

Next, I filtered into a river. I was flowing with the river for what felt like forever,

but eventually I flowed into a big lake. While I was in the lake, I made a friend with an animal.

But I soon found out that the animal was just thirsty. The animal drank the water and I.

Then the water was extracted by urine. Now, I was ground water.

One day I was just sitting in the ground, and some plant roots absorbed me. Now I am hydrating a plant.

Then through a process called transpiration, I left the plant. Now I am back in the clouds.

And after a while, the water and I condensed up, and I fell back into the ocean as a liquid through precipitation. I have finally made it back to the ocean in the water cycle. I wonder where I will go next.
