As a first activity, the teacher asked us to create a storyboard on what we were studying in English literature, in fact, the storyboard was focused on the “canterbury tales” in particular on the story of the “bathroom wife”. Using a special site we create this sort of cartoon telling the story of this woman called Alison and why she became deaf in one ear (I leave you my storyboards on the next page)

Remaining in the theme “The Canterbury Tales”, during the quarantine period we also studied Geoffrey Chaucer born in 1343 and writer of this collection,it contains a variety of narrative elements:the setting in time and place, the description of characters , the use of a narrator and all stories end with a moral.

The second job, on the other hand, was in line with the school address we are following, multimedia graphics. The delivery of this exercise was in fact the creation of a video against stereotypes against our school in which I and all my class mates had to appear. Each of us had to say a “symbolic” phrase of a few seconds where we denied all stereotypes. The title of the video is “I stand with Valle” i leave you the link below to see it:https://we.tl/t-jnps8q1jdA

In the third exercise, the teacher made us do a “lyrics training”, through a site (which unfortunately I don’t remember the name) we started a song, the song we had chosen was “Eraser” by Ed sheeran, while we listened to the song we had to understand the lyrics to complete at the end of the exercises where you had to complete a sentence of the text missing

As regards the part of English concerning culture and literature, in addition to having studied the “Canterbury tales” and the “wife of bath”, we have seen what are the differences between covid-19 and the Black Death, creating a type of debate between us, we also focused on a stained glass window located inside Canterbury Cathedral, studying how it was made, that is, with the colored glass technique which consists in joining colored glass pieces using lead strips. The stained glass window depicts Adam digging deep into hard ground with a shovel (Represents Adam’s hard work and the fate of man exiled from Eden)

In conclusion, I want to say that doing this kind of activity is always nice, they really stimulate creativity and make you learn “having fun”, I hope to do other similar activities later.
See you soon.
