King Dorian and Queen Cynthia were very excited about their upcoming vacation. They felt that work has been very stressful and decided to fly to Vasion Island and stay for 2 weeks. King Dorian has left his brother Charming in charge and Charming was very happy that his brother has “finally taken a chance to relax!” and promised that the kingdom was safe with him. 

The entire kingdom waved goodbye to the beloved King and Queen as they left for Vasion Island.

Just as the King and Queen were out of sight and everyone began returning home, a messenger from the castle came and started reading the following:

               “dear citizens,

              from now on, I, Charming,

             am your king. Anyone who objects

             or helps the former king and queen,

             shall be banished from the kingdom.

            sincerely,

             your new king Charming.“

people started panicking, screams filled the air as everyone understood that a new king has took over the kingdom.

That day, the princess Scarlett was banished from the kingdom, and a paper saying that if the King Dorian and the Queen Cynthia were ever to come back, they shall be banished as well was put in the capital’s most busy street.

Months past, and the kingdom is in a terrible state: rich became beggars, famous became nobodies, taxes rose and the trading became poor. Charming had no idea how to run a kingdom, having always been raised to be the one in the shadows, the least important one of the family.

Meanwhile, the princess decided she would take back the kingdom. As everyone hated the new king it wasn’t hard to get associates that smuggled her in and got her a duchess disguise.

The princess entered the court as Angelina Colfield, the duchess. She began helping Charming fixing the kingdom and soon became his favorite.                                                                                                                          As she did this, she also started switching guards with some of the rebels.

One time they were discussing trade with other kingdoms, and then Scarlett said she has something important to say. Charming sent everyone and then the princess said,

“Uncle Charming, what happened to you? Why did you do this?”

“How DARE you call your king by his personal name?!” roared Charming. “And call me your UNCLE!?!”

“You still do not recognize me, uncle? After all the years we’ve spent together?” sighed the Princess.

“You- you are Scarlett?!?!” paled Charming.

“Yes, uncle. I am.” said the princess.

Charming paled, tried to regain himself, than paled again.

“Is your- is your father here? And your mother?”

“You banished them, Charming. Like you banished me. But I came anyways and I will bring them too.” said Scarlett, head high.

“Well, than, in that case,” smiled Charming menacingly. “Guards!” he called, turning serious again. “Take this woman to the dungeon!”

But the guards were all the Princess’s associates, and took charming away instead, him screaming all the way, “YOU WILL REGRET THE DAY YOU MESSED WITH ME!!”.

The Princess Scarlett took her rightful place on the throne and sent a message to her parents, who came the very next day. They crowned Scarlett queen,and her first act was to banish Charming from the kingdom.

After that, the whole kingdom was happy and that day was made a holiday.
