My favorite poem is “Humpty Dumpty“. Humpty Dumpty is an ancient poem loved by children around the world.

Humpty Dumpty raises a series of intellectual questions. Who was he? Why was he sitting on a wall? What kind of egg sits on a wall? And how do we know for sure that he was an egg? And what kind of egg? And how can an egg be a “he”.

Why did he fall off the wall? Was it an earthquake, a hangover?

There are so many questions to ask. That is why it is a great poem.
