A diary of a traveller

I could guess that it was going to be the worst day. The taxi driver told me he was lost on the way to the airport. I was on time because my flight was delayed for 2 hours. All in all the airport public system announced our flight in lights.

I took my seat and discovered that I was sitting next to a two-year-old girl who had a cold. I sat down and started to think what I had done in my past life to have such problems nowdays.

I hate flying at all. I hate taking-off, I have the plane gathering speed etc. So the plane took off and everything seemed to be well. Our flight was about an hour and I thought that there were no problems.I enjoyed a good visibility and suddenly I heard a strange noise and everything started to shake. I looked out of the window and saw smoke coming out of the wing. I could think only about my death. I never believe in God, but I started to pray.

The crew was great. The captain spoke to us calmly that there was a slight technical problem with one of our engines and there was absolutely no need to panic. We made an emergency landing. We were coming in to landin a few minutes. The pilot made a perfect landing on the runway. It was the end. We were saved. I caught a taxi and a driver took me to the railway station. I returned home full of impressions.

It was that situation which changed my life completely. I deceided never to fly. I statred to appreciate my life. I think that if God gives me the second chance, I should take it and change the world. I ask myself everytime why I am alive. I started do charity, go to the church on Sundays, feed the homeless and animals etc.
