                            INGLESE                                     Londra ai tempi del Corona Virus                                                                              It’s the perfect selfie: just me in my Lycra in front of St Paul’s Cathedral, with not another person in sight. It’s a warm, sunny spring afternoon. And London is in Lockdown. But be warned: public toilets, too, are closed, so be careful not to over-hydrate if you are venturing out. Marylebone, the Georgian residential quarter north of Mayfair, there were so few cars out that for the first time in this part of town, I could enjoy the splendour of the Georgian terraced  houses, before joining the outer ring road of Regent’s Park. It is just over a kilometre of dead straight, flat road —- an opportunity to get my heart and lungs working after a morning at my computer. England, Great Britain, United Kingdom: What’s the Difference ?                  London is the capital of England.                     England is a country.                                     Britain is an area that consist of England and the country of Wales.                                     Great Briatain is the name of the island that is home to the countries of England, Wales, and Scotland.                                                The United Kingdom (UK) is a country that is a union of the countries on the island of Great Britain, along with the country of Northern Ireland (which shares the island of Ireland with the Republic of Ireland.)                          The Republic of Ireland is a separate country that is not part pf the UK.                               London is also the capital of the UK.
