A.H.A.V.A’S 4th GRADE!
Please enjoy the projects done throughout the year by our students. Part of the work was done during Corona season and it was challenging at times, so please keep this in mind while you are looking at them. One of the advantages of online learning was that we were able to successfully include two new students on shlichut for the last ten lessons.

Book Report – The Iron Man

The Iron Man comes and eats the iron of the people. They start to get afraid. In the book there’s going to be a big fight and Hogarth is going to convince the Iron Man to help.
I think the book is interesting because I imagine the whole book. It feels cool. I feel I am flowing along the story.

Book Report – The Iron Man

The Iron Man is eating up cars and machines. People figured out how to cheer him up so he wouldn’t eat their machines. I think that the book was good because there are monsters in the story.
We had a lot of fun making up these pages.

I Hate Homework

I hate doing homework because it is boring. I hate doing homework also because it takes a lot of time to do it. If there was no homework, I would read a lot of Hebrew. I hate doing homework!
For Remembrance Day, our students joined a national program and wrote letters to bereaved families of fallen soldiers. We chose an English speaking family and the letters were sent to them. Scroll down to the end.

Hot to Paint a Wall

First stick masking tape on the light switch and the sides. Next mix the paint with water and paint the sides with a paint brush. Then dip the roller in paint and wipe off the extra paint. Fourth, paint all of the wall with the roller. Now enjoy the wall.

First you need to find the wood. Then you need to put it all in one place. Next we put rocks around the wood. Put oil on the wood. Finally light the fire with matches. Enjoy!

Our students had a good time using their vocabulary words in creative sentences. They enjoyed the challenge of trying to get more than one vocabulary word i each sentence. Scroll down to the end.

Bravery

I think that my grandfather is brave because the doctor told him that he is going to die in five years and he still helped people and learned Torah. He woke up very early to daven. He refused to work on Shabbat even though he lost his job.
