The Amish are group of people who live in north America, their settlements are in 22 states in USA and Canada. They are speaking a mix of Germany and English.

In the 17th century They were in Switzerland and Germany, but during the 18th century most of them moved to USA. They moved because in Germany the people didn’t like them and they took them away.

The Amish call themselves the “common people”. The people who connect to the earth. In their life there is a indispensable connection to the earthworks, and most of them are farmers, who engage in rais vegetables, and croop the harvest when the summer arrive. The mans wearing black clothes, and black hats. The black things is to separate them for athor people.

The Amish womans are work in the field from young age but then they most of the time in the citchen, and this is a very hard work because there is no electrical power. The only energy that used in the Amish is the wind energy that used to water the field. One of the big values of the Amish is to talk face to face, and this is why the Amish people are not allowed to have smart phones. They don’t have cars or something like that, they have a horses and they use them to drive enywhere.

The Amish were part of grup that calls “the Mennonites”. They choose this way of life because they want to get out of the way of life of the regular world, and live like the old times, they belive in earthwork and no tecnology at all.
