Yosef Gordon

Yosef was born in Union of Soviet Socialist

Republics in 15.4.1954.

In 1957 he arrived in israel through Poland.

Yosef realy liked to read and listen to music.

He chose to study at the Navy Technical School.

In this context, he participated in the Beirut

raid campaign, which was his turning point in

his life.

Yossef was drafted into the IDF in November 

1972, posted to the IAF and sent to a pilot

course.

After the course, Yossef was posted to a combat

squadron.

In 1977, Yossef married his girlfriend – Elza.

After seven years of service he was released

from permanent service and began studying at

the Faculty of Business.

During his studies and his work, Yossef has

served many days in the military reserves,

and loved the flight hours that had been

disconnected from daily life.

Yossef fell in the line of duty in 1980, He was

26 years old.

He left behind a wife, parents and sister.
