Curious Marc

My name is Marc.
I am 7 years old and my sister says I ask too many questions.
We don’t leave our house very often so every time mom or dad ask me if would like to join them, I say yes right away!
Every-time we go out, I learn a bunch of new things about before…

When mom asked me if I want to join her to the supermarket museum I said yes right away! I love learning new things about before…

Before we left mom asked me to grab her bag and come to the car. on my way out I accidentally dropped the bag and something weird fell out of it. It was small colorful papers with pictures of old people and numbers on it.

“Mom, what are these?” I asked.

“Oh, that is called cash. That was how people used to pay before…” said mom.

On our way to the car I saw this big thing in the sky. It wasn’t a bird or a delivery drone or a police drone or any kind of drone… So what was it?

“Mom, what is that thing in the sky?” I asked.

“Oh, that’s an airplane. People used to fly in it to go to other countries…” said mom.

On our way in the car I couldn’t understand something.

“Mom, why do we have 5 seats in the car if we are only allowed to be 2 in it?” I asked.

“Oh that’s because we were allowed to be more than 2 before…” said mom.

When we got to the supermarket museum I was super excited! It was huge! We got a robotic cart that followed us so we can fill it with whatever we wanted, there were isles over isles of food and things I haven’t seen before! maybe because mom and dad don’t buy it from our online store…

“Mom, was the supermarket really like this?” I asked.

“No honey” she answered.

“How so?” I asked.

“Well, there were no robotic carts that followed you. We had carts that we had to push around before…” she said.

On our way back home I suddenly remembered I had class soon and that we weren’t going to make it in time home.

“Mom! I have class, I’m going to be late!” I panicked.

“That’s OK honey, I have your V.R glasses right here. Say hello to your teacher for me” she said.

“Mom, I have one last question for today…

Before what?” I asked.

“Before the Corona virus of-course” she answered.
