When they were just formed, the Beatles started their first performances outside of Great Britain and went to Hamburg, Germany in.

In August, they performed first in a little club name Indra in St. Pauli, which was the first time for them performing in front of foreigners. They didn’t stay in hotels or houses, they used to sleep in an old small cinema’s storeroom.

They performed every night from 9 P.M. to 2 A.M. without interruption. 2 months later, in October, they would change location to the Kaiserkeller. This was a bit better as it was more spacious than before.

They would continue moving from clubs to clubs until they will performed in 1962 in the Star-Club, where it was the last where they would perform in Hamburg before returning in England.

It was the performance in Hamburg that gave the newly band from Liverpool the experience needed to become greater musicians. Their success later would then be international. From Liverpool to Hamburg and then the entire world.
