What is solitude?
I think that Solitude indicates voluntary isolation. You are in “solitude” when you are physically alone. A person is in solitude when, for example, he reads a book or listens to music.
What is loneliness?
The word Loneliness instead, indicates the loneliness that one feels when is alone in the soul, that is, when a person is not alone physically or in a place but alone because he has no one who can console or comfort him.
the place where I go when I need to be alone
If I have to be honest, I don’t have a place where I love to go when I need to be on my own. In my opinion, is not important the place but what you do in that place. For example, to distract myself and disconnect from everything, I listen to music.
If you had to move to a secluded place, who would you take with you? Why?
If I had to move to a secluded place I would probably take with me my friends or my family because they are the ones who know me best and with I have spent most of my life.
“Solitude is fine but you need someone to tell that solitude is fine”
– Honoré de Balzac
I think that everyone sometimes needs to spend some time alone. Being alone helps you to think calmly, to focus on certain problems and understand how to best manage them.
If these moments become normal then they are no longer useful. It is nice to be able to share with friends both the positive thoughts we made in solitude and the doubts we have left. For this reason, in my opinion, solitude is beautiful, because in reality if you have friends, you are never alone.
