LET’S START WITH THE HEAD
The face is made up of:
-forehead
-the eyes – the eyelids – the eyelashes – eyebrown
-the nose – the nostrils
-the mouth – lips – teeth – tongue – gum
-chin
-the ears
-on top the head we’ve the hair
-at the end of the face there’s the neck which connects the head to the trunk
THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The main function of the respiratory system is to provide energy needed by the cells of the body.
The organ involved are:
- the nasal cavity
- mouth
- pharynx
- larynx
- trachea
- bronchi
- lungs
The nervous system
the nervous system is an organ system containing a network of specialized cells called NEURONS that coordinate or actions and trasmit signals to our body.
The nervous system consists of two parts:
THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
THE PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM
THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM CONTAINS THE BRAIN, SPINAL CORD AND RETINA!
