Tubing

“Are we there yet?” I moaned,

getting tired of sitting in the car for at  least a half hour. My dad nodded his head seeming irritated because my siblings had asked before me. We were going to my moms dads friends house where there was a big lake to go tubing on

Finally we were there I saw big houses left and right,

“Ring, Ring, Ring,” the doorbell rang

we went thru the back because no one answered the door there he was Pat. We went inside the glass doors I looked all around and Pat gave us a tour and I thought to myself this is the biggest house I’ve ever been in. Then Pat’s wife MaryAnn politely said

“ Go change into your bathing suit’s and we’ll go on the boat in a minute or two.”

I changed and then me and my brothers put life jackets on, and make sure they fit.

I walked on the boat and my dad gave me a hand so I didn’t fall off, First we just drove around the lake seeing the other boats and the tree’s. Then it was time to go tubing

Pat instructed us to lean back until we got into deep waters and started going faster, so we wouldn’t fall of the big tube. We leaned back like we were doing yoga but I knew it was for the better of us.I gripped on tightly knowing I would get blisters from the material , I also did that uncomfortable pose with my brother and sister so we could stay at float and then we started moving. As soon as we past the bui that marked deep water we started going fast me my sister and my brother all started screaming with happiness and laughing with joy, but now we were going as fast as ever my eyes could barely stay open. There was water splashing all over me, and I almost fell of a couple times because my hands and fingers were losing strength I had to pull myself back up with my legs.

“ Woohooo” I screamed

Making sure my mom and dad could hear me from the boat. At some points of the ride the boat left the ground and at others we almost fell into the boat tracks. I could see the bui It was time, the boat had slowed down that was me knowing the boat ride was over. I huffed and licked my lips from them being dry from the fast winds at my face.

Suddenly I feel water filling half of my body

“ Lean back Lean back!” my sister shouts I quickly reacted but not quick enough …………………….SPLASH. Me and my brother were in the cool water but my sister wasn’t in the water, she  did her evil laugh and helped us up. As I sat on the boat raped in my towel I thought to myself this is the best day ever!
