The Basketball Game

He drives with a guy beside him and take a dribble behind his back, and takes the step back to create space and shoots and scores for the buzzer beater. That was me during my last basketball games scoring the winning shot. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was getting ready for my basketball game at 2:00. I was lacing up my new Red Air Jordans with the light red nike symbol and and dark red all over that I just bought for B-ball. After my parents went to Brooklyn to see my grandpa who was in the hospital. My other grandparents were staying over till my parents came back do they had to take me to my travel basketball. Also it was fine because my grandparents love my basketball games.

So when we got to Indian Hill Middle School, The Wildcats were preparing and I was the first one there on my team. Luckily I had a ball with me. We beat them before by one point a few months back at all sports by the Monmouth Mall. I was in the starting lineup as a SG (shooting guard). I was one of the biggest players on my team but coach lined me up there because I am a great mid-range shooter. We weren’t one of the best teams in the league but we manage to get a few W’s. In the beginning of the first both teams mine and theirs were scoring points like crazy. I had 7 points in that period. The score was 28 to 30 they were winning. When the second started to begin it was crazy because the game was starting to slow down. We were still shooting a lot it’s that everybody was trying there hardest because they were tired.

So when the half ended it was 42 to 40 my team actually had the lead. So when we came back in the second half, everybody had their energy back so the game was back to it was like in the first. I took 2 mid-range shots and got scared because they looked like they weren’t going in. Evently afler they were rolling around the rim a lot they went in. When I took one of those shots in the fourth for the buzzer beater. I was driving up the lane and the defender was right beside me and then I dribbled behind my back and a step back to create room and when I did that number 20 fell right on his face but I like doing my moves. But I keep saying to myself never show off your moves in a game unless you really need to like when I did the step back

In the end of the game the score was 50 to 56 they won. That doesn’t really matter to me because I played hard and and my team played together. I had fun playing even though I lost. Also my team plays like one person so that clears it up even more. So the big thing about today was don’t get upset if you win or lose.
